PRODUCTS - 5kW WESTWIND

The 5.5kW is available in 48V, 120V battery charging and 240V (heat, grid-tied or a combination of both). This product is one of the most successful in our range since the business arrived in the U.K. due to it being incredibly flexible in application. It is of adequate size to supply customers' energy for personal use with either solely electric use or electric & heating (depending on the energy consumption). This machine, although slightly larger than the 3kW, can be used to provide a great stand alone system.

It is fitted with the Westwind 95% efficient generator. All Westwind turbine generators are ran in our dyno test bench before final assembly to the nacelle. We do not know of any other manufacturer that checks their systems in such detail.

Our customers can choose whether they wish to have the nacelle etc painted white in appearance and the blades painted black for anti icing purposes (rather than white).

The market place offers a colossal range in small wind turbines, but if you want a machine that will run for many years without extra maintenance expenditure then the Westwind range is the one for you. We make no apologies for our machines being more expensive than competitors, as over a few years you will find they will accumulate the extra money due to our low maintenance; plus you will not have the same problems with down time (time when the turbine is out of operation when waiting on maintenance).
